He Who Rules...

The Space In-Between
Chapter 2, part 1
Mystery Solved?
Chapter 1, part 3

Upon leaving the World-Crypts in search of Plato de Camarones, Pantsful attempts to summon his faithful eidolon, but instead mysteriously disappears in the same spacial blink that his eidolon would have appeared in. Without a clue on how to find their gnome companion, Brother Scree and Soledad continue their search for Plato.

Deeper within the Godsmouth Ossuary, in an amazingly well preservered library, the Dreamless find Plato huddled against a bookshelf, mumbling “The menhir will set us free. The menhir will set us free.” After awaking him from his trance, a strange draconic paper creature by the name of Euledrissen unfolds from a bookself. While the paper drake contains vast amounts of knowledge, he is cryptic and professes to know little about anything outside the library, though he does help the Dreamless locate a mysterious book entitled, the Book of Danan.

Buried in a hidden crypt not far from the library, the Dreamless find a silver medallion with a seven pointed star inscribed upon it. Not wanting to upset the dead, Brother Scree keeps the medallion for safe keeping until it can be returned to his church.

After a few trying encounters best left forgotten, the Dreamless stumble across their quarry and the source of the disappearing corpses, a Svilennius Tripe, an ex-cleric of Kelemvor trying to create alchemical undead. Unable to reason with the clearly insane Tripe, the Dreamless kill him in a short skirmish. Afterward, Plato finds Tripe’s notes, the Chymists of Life in Death.

Shortly after searching Tripe’s lab, the Ossuary is shakes violently from what is definitely an earthquake…

The World-Crypts
Chapter 1, part 2

The Dreamless continue their exploration of the Godsmouth Ossuary and the seven World-Crypts contained within. Before continuing onward, Plato was stung by a nightmarish scorpion only to go mad and blindly flee into the Ossuary. Unable to find him, the rest of the Dreamless continued their own explorations in hopes of finding him:

While they were unsure of the Crypts’ purpose, the stumbled upon a few startling discovers:

  • A crazed tiger-man who had a peculiar death-wish against Brother Scree.
  • A dark room that held the phantasm of a four-winged owl.
  • A room contained the desiccated remains of a gnome, lizardman, and pixie.

Entering the Godsmouth Ossuary
Chapter 1, part 1

As the Dreamless descended into they are each gifted with a vision that ends with them staring warily at each other before continuing into the bowels of the Godsmouth Ossuary.

Their early explorations of the Ossuary leads them through an ancient shrine dedicated to the dead foreign goddess Maztica and a series of seven rooms, each adorned in different, and sometimes strange, trappings. Many of these rooms are also inhabited by monsters unheard of, such as a living color spray and an intelligent skeleton champion.

The Exorcists
The Enlightened Monastery of the Unraveling Weave

The Dreamless were reborn in the Year of the Wild Magic on the world of Abeir-Toril. in Enlightened Monastery of the Unraveling Weave. Born not of their own bodies, but of their own souls, the Dreamless were raised from the dead by the surviving monks of the monastery, who thought them to be the four Dead Saints of years gone by.

With only a few of the saints possessions, the Dreamless had to save the monastery and themselves from a rampaging possessed gold dragon determined to find the Possessor’s Necklace hidden within the bowels of the monastery.

With masterful ingenuity, the Dreamless were able to hatched a plan that left Soledad Horndoggle in ropes, Pantsful Aptshaper Longbottom with a wand, Plato de Camarones an exorcist, and Brother Petrovian Scree taking a paladin’s vows.

Once freed, Rasia the gold dragon, flew them to the mainland where their were approached by the Church of Kelemvor and returned to Waterdeep with the promise of helping with a problem at the Godsmouth Ossuary.
